Memphis with Mama-Part 2

Off to the yarn shop! We stopped into Rainbow Fibers  in Germantown.  I use to visit Hank of Yarn, where I met Lara from TheKnitgirllls but they’ve since closed.  Rainbow fibers advertised wheels and classes so I had to stop in.  I didn’t take a  picture as I was a little overwhelmed by its size.  Its located in a strip mall and was small with a ton of product.  I was very happy to see a shop with a few wheels and fiber but it was not shoppable for me.  The owner was very nice in fact she was assisting some fellow knitters with some mishaps.  I was looking for some toes and heels for my socks and did manage to purchase a 50g skein of Lang in superwash.

I really wanted an eggplant color for the heels and toes because the green makes me feel like my socks are boys instead of girls…..the verdict is still out.

Next we crossed the street to Hobby Lobby.  I Lurve HL.  I nornally find some really nice coordinating fabric…and I did.

Oh before I forget we swapped our Christmas gifts too!

I got the gold Nate Berkus collection too.  Can’t wait to get my living room office set up so I can display it!

After that we headed on back to the house.  I jumped on the wheel and almost finished one entire bobbin!  Exciting!

Toodles!
